I took this photo from a suspension bridge on the first day of our trek. For the majority of the 12 days, we walked on the side of a hill and there was quite a large amount of water running down from the top of the hill to the Modi Khola (Khola means ‘river’ in Nepali) at the bottom of the valley. This was just one of the many streams we crossed.

  1. Oh. My. God.
This is such an amazing shot.
    I love it.

  2. We went for a swim in a pool very similar to this. It was so cold, we only stayed in for about 5 minutes – but what an experience! The power of the fall was exhilarating. The locals watched us from the suspension bridge – and obviously thought we were mad!
